The first Arab woman to pass the Bar in the UK, Abir Dajani Tuqan is a collector with a
passion for keeping all aspects of her culture alive. Wearing pieces from her eclectic
wardrobe, which includes traditional and contemporary garments, she sat amid the Ottoman
grandeur of Beirut’s Sursock Palace – a space whose heritage was, sadly, almost destroyed
by the 2020 port explosion.
